About This Report
Methodology and important limitations
Methodology. Methodology 2.0 uses 25 weighted self-assessment questions across Security, Identity & Access, Device Management, Backup & Recovery, Network, and Business Continuity. Answers are scored consistently (Yes 100, Partially 50, I’m not sure 25, No 0). Higher-impact safeguards carry more weight within each category, and fixed category weights are used to calculate the overall score.
Framework alignment. The Remote Life Technology Health Score is a proprietary self-assessment informed by recognized cybersecurity and technology-management practices, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 and CIS Critical Security Controls v8.1. It is not a NIST or CIS certification or official framework score.
Important. This report is based solely on the answers provided and is not a technical audit, penetration test, compliance certification, warranty, or verification that any security, backup, recovery, or configuration control is functioning as intended.

How is my Technology Health Score calculated?
The Remote Life Tech Check uses a proprietary weighted self-assessment across six areas of business technology. Each answer receives a consistent value: Yes = 100, Partially = 50, I’m not sure = 25, and No = 0. Higher-impact safeguards carry more weight within each category, and the six category scores are combined using fixed category weights.
The methodology is informed by recognized cybersecurity and technology-management practices, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 and CIS Critical Security Controls v8.1. It is not a NIST or CIS certification, technical audit, penetration test, compliance assessment, or guarantee of security.
This self-assessment is informational and does not replace a technical security audit, compliance review, or penetration test.
